What to see in Germany?

Can anyone tell me what is a must see in Germany, Is the black forest a site to see? I am in Koln and Bonn will be going into Frankfurt. And please tell me are there day trips on the Rhine river? Husabnd wants to go to Berlin, I think its too far for a day trip. Please give me your input thanks, Melody

Hi Melody, I know that there are day trips to the Rhine River. Another one thru RTT Travel is an express trip thru Bavaria. That has been my favorite place in Germany so far. I don't know much about the Black Forest. Hope this helps a little. Shanon

There is so much to do and see- just depends on what you are in the mood to do. I've only been here 2 months and sometimes just drive all over- with no particular place to go. We're trying to get the time to go to Koln soon I heard its beautiful. We live in Wiesbaden and its just as great. There is so much of the city to see. I heard Frankfurt has a 12 story mall you might enjoy if shopping is your thing

Oh girl. its a lot of places here in Germany. One very good hint, if you want to travel in train go for it on the weekends, For a group up to five is 30 Euros, any destination inside Germany. We are 4 and we took that a lot. Go to Rudeshim ( my spelling is BAD BAD )by car is great. You are clorse to Trier, is a beautiful Roman city. You are never going to have time to see all the beautiful places , Limburg, Gramisch, etc take care and have fun Vanessa

This is the castle that Walt Disney copies for Cinderalla's Castle. The link above will give you some pics. It is a must see! Definitely try and take a Rhine River cruise.
