Yes it was very quick.  I am still shocked that it is happening so fast.  I am going with the band.  I had a choice and I decided the band was better for me because my husband is leaving for his deployment a couple days after I get out of the hospital.  It just works better for me with my work schedule and him being gone.  Not such a long recovery time and all.

 Hey everyone.  I am new to the board and have some questions.  I have been approved by TriCare to see Professor Weiner in Frankfurt.  My appointment is tomorrow, 11/3/08.  Once I have this consultation, what happens?  Will I have to go through a period of having to lose weight, see all kinds of other doctors such as psych, etc?  I am hoping that I will have my consult and then get a surgery date.  I know TriCare will have to approve me again, but I am just worried because this process has just been too easy so far, I guess I am just waiting for the big disappointment to come.  Can some of you tell me your process?

Im just wondering if any of you listen to Scooter. I think I'm like their only fan in America and have been for a long time but I'm just wondering how popular they are in Germany.

I had to go to him to get a little bit of an unfill for my lapband and he was great. We had only been here for like 3 weeks and I was miserable and he took me right away!
