just saying hallo to all our German friends. but when i was in Germany i didn't see any overweight people, so i'm not sure how many Germans will actually have weight loss surgery.

Topic: RE: any support for us Military wives in Germany?
Hello Kay
I'm sorry, but since I'm not in Germany at this time, I can't help. However, my sister-in-law is headed there next week for 4 years, and I have asked her to check it out. She's had WLS in Nov 2003 and doing great, as soon as I get anything, I will post it here. Until then, maybe check with the Army Medical Facilities in Germany, such as Landstuhl Med. Ctr or the hospital in Heidelberg, they might have some kind of support group already. I've heard that some of the hospitals there do the surgery, so there must be something organized???
Have a great day,
Andrea
