Hi,
I'm Kristin and I'm from Illesheim, Germany. I have go in for surgery on May 27th with Dr Weiner. I am very nervous but even more excited. Any words of wisdom that someone can share?

Hi Tina,
I am from Illesheim. I had my first appointment on April 28th with Dr Weiner and scheduled my surgery for May 28th (I go in one the 27th). I just got approval from my insurance on Thursday. I am really nervous but more excited.
How did you appointment go?

Well getting ready to leave in the morning for the hospital and sugery is on tuesday with Dr. Wiener and between the last minute freaking out and the excitment of it actually being here already i can't seem to sit still lol anyways just wondering if everyone had any last minute tips?

Congratulations!! I will be at the hospital in Frankfurt seeing Dr. Weiner on May 19 too, but for my 18 months check up!! I have lost 143 pounds and I LOVE the new me. I am having a tummy tuck and breast lift this summer (June 25th) in California, but Dr. Weiner also has a member of his team that does the plastics. This gastric bypass saved my life! It has changed me in sooooooo many ways! Enjoy your new life. Yes, Dr Weiner is the best!!

Katterbach here. Do you have a date yet? I am 2 years out May 12th...just updated my profile. There are a few of us here in the area...they are just closet post op'ers.

It is a done deal. Picked up my final approval paperwork from tricare today. I go into the Hospital on 19 May. The procedure is with Dr. Weiner and I am so thankful for that. Everyone on this board has had nothing but great things to say about him. I am so excited and nervous at the same time but I know this is the right decision for me. I am ready for the new chapter in my life. The one where I begin to really live again. Thanks for all your encouragement and responses about the DR it is a great resource.
