My bike is calling me.....
I had my surgery Monday. It went really well. Now I'm
hearing this not-so-little voice calling me from the garage
saying something like "get off your butt and go for a ride".
The doc said I can ride as soon as I can put my leg over
it. Well, I can put my leg over it no problem, but I think I'll
at least wait until morning.

Very true, meds and bikes don't mix.
Haven't had any meds since Thursday, except for
the Combivent inhaler, which tastes like tire rubber
and doesn't seem to have much effect on anything.
I suppose it does something so I'll just follow the
instructions.
Rain and bikes don't mix too well either though. Maybe
I'll get to ride to my doctor's appointment tomorrow.

Well, I rode for about an hour on Wednesday, and again
today for about an hour and a half. No problem at all.
I'll take another short one tomorrow. After I wash today's
bugs off.
My op was lap, and it has been a breeze so far. Figuring
out what, how, and when to eat has been a bit of an
experiment, and my eyes are waaayyyyy bigger than my
stomach.
Gotta figure out a good way to carry some water on the
bike. Saw an old timer today that has a bicycle water
bottle on each fork leg. I don't know about that......

Hey Rodger goooooooooooooo don't let the darkness stop you goooooooooooo. I went out yesterday for the first time in about three weeks I miss my baby and enjoyed every minute of it. I am suffering from gout in my big toe and yesterday's ride made it worse so I am not sure when I will be back in the saddle again. but gooooooooooooooooo
