Oh Wow! A Harley group! :-D

I just now stumbled across this message board and am so happy to see some fellow HOGS!! I'm in the countdown for my surgery, am traveling to Costa Rica to have the lap RNY on April 28th. Everything is done and its just the waiting now which is driving me crazy. I've been combing these message boards reading everything and found this group. I love Harley's, ride as a passenger. Missed out on the Daytona Bike week this year as I was saving for this surgery but....plan on being there in October with less of me to show!!

Hi Sherry, Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. Mine is 3 days before yours. I hope to be going to Daytona's bike week also. I should be at my goal I pray by then. If not there then pretty close. Good luck and have a safe trip to Costa Rica and I pray everything goes well. Take Care, Judy

Maybe we can hook up at the Daytona Biketoberfest..I don't think I'll be at goal but am looking forward to at least being quite a bit smaller.

Hey folks, Don't get too stuck on the idea of being at goal at Bike Week. EVery pound that goes away between now and then will make the event more fun. I'm down 56 pounds and riding is way better than it was. It is a total motivator! --Rodger

Thanks Rodger, I haven't been able to ride much lately because of knee problems. I have had 2 surgeries on my right knee and this extra weight I'm carrying is not helping. Any weight down will be a definite motivator!
