I guess I should not be disappointed, but the scale has not budged....238...but I am now wearing a 16/18 instead of an 18/20....so I guess I am trading muscle for fat, and muscle while weighing the same as fat takes up less room.....
"A pound is a pound the world around" not sure who said that, but I always remember that when people say that muscle weighs more than fat...one pound is one pound...fat just takes up a lot more room.....

My former date knew I had had stomach surgery, just not what kind. He was concerned that I did not eat a lot at one time, but I explained to him that I ate small meals 6 times a day, and that was enough to satisfy him. I also jokingly told him that I was a cheap date as my meal would be more than one for me, and I really did not want to order an appetizer, meal and then dessert. I do order dessert, and share, but right now it is not serious enough for me to tell the entire truth.

A VERY disappointing 190lbs!??!?!?!??!?!??!?!? PMS plus 10 days of birthday/soccer/halloween party eating... I am very depressed that I let this happen at just 10 months post op... I gained 8 lbs in as many days.....

Potato salad. I made a WLS version using nuked zucchini for the potatoes.
Fresh fried potatoes with caramelized onions. I make a WLS version using delicata squash.
They aren't the same, but I make due. lol
Pork Chops! It takes a LONG time (2 minutes) to chew or I dump.
I'm not concerned about slider foods yet. If I'm having trouble keeping solids down I have sliders (usually cottage cheese). I figure it's better than not getting my protein. I guess I need to look up which other slider foods there are. I don't really know.
