When the scale stops moving, I pull out the measuring tape, and that usually confirms that I'm doing okay.

This week 172.5 but not sure if I will make my goal of 165. Not sure of a New Year goal yet.

Met my revised goal for Halloween. 175 lbs - as of today.
This week, Monday I was 176.5, but today - 175 lbs. My original goal was 180, then I changed that to 175 and met it. Good for me.
Since my goal is 150, but not sure what my doc goal for me is going to be.
New Year goal will be very conservative: 170 lbs.
I need to exercise and build muscles. So far I was exercising to lose weight, now it is time to build muscles and tone. That is why I only want o lose 5 lbs in next 2 months.
But since now I am size 10 - the new year goal is:
New year: 170 or below, size 8 pants, round bottom (now it is flat, like a pancake)/

Hey Lea,
The last couple challenges since New Year's I have NOT made my goal. I was assuming things would be the same here. My goal weight was 179 and this morning I was at 176.6
HOLY ****! I am so HAPPY!
I would like to join the New Year's Challenge and my goal weight for that will be 170.
:o)
Thanks again!
Katy

Oh I have found so many post-op recipes that I enjoy.
Right now my favorite is spaghetti pie w/ spaghetti squash:
1 spaghetti squash
1 8 oz container of ricotta
1 egg
1/3 cup parmesean cheese, grated
1 jar low sugar spaghetti sauce
1 cup mozzorella cheese, shredded
cut spaghetti squash in half, de-seed, place in microwave dish w/ 1/2 cup water and microwave for 15 minutes (or bake for 45 minutes). Scoop out spaghetti when cool
Mix, egg, ricotta, parmesean & 1/2 jar sauce together. Add spaghetti and put in 8X8 baking dish. cover w/ 1/2 jar of sauce bake at 350 for 20 minutes add mozzorella cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

I don't have any advice for stalls either as I am trying to maintain so the scale not moving much is okay (mind blowing but okay).
Stalls happen and I've seen many posts suggesting adding protein and increasing exercise.
Good luck to those of you who are stalling..."this too shall pass".

What's your favorite post-op recipe? WHY do you like it so much?
Mine is beef stew. I don't make it any differently, but I do double the meat. I cook it in a crock pot, and it's super soft and just falls apart, so it's very pouch friendly.
1-2 pounds of beef cubes
3 medium potatoes
1 medium onion
1 c. carrots
1 c. corn
1 1/2 c. green beans
2 c. vegetable juice
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp beef bouillon
Spices to taste
Brown meat. Layer meat and veggies in a crock pot. Mix vegetable juice and other ingredients and pour over top. Cook on high for five to six hours.
