I took a few - not enough...   I spent so many years hiding from the camera, it took awhile for me to get comfortable with pictures. 

I did save a couple of outfits - things I just couldn't part with, due to memories..  thought about making a quilt out of them, but ya know - I just have better things to do now!!!

In the early stages, my daughter and I pretty much ate the same thing - she was able to lose 60 pounds by eating properly.  Now, I cook three or four times a week for my boyfriend, and I always make him some sort of side dish.  He's not a veggie person.  I usually have a spoonful of the pasta or potatoes, but I eat salad or vegetables with my protein.  The rest of the week, he takes me out, and I try to eat sensibly, but usually bring home lunch for the next day.

I don't remember how long it was to my first stall, but I didn't stall often until I almost reached goal - and then I relaxed my routine too much and that's when I stalled out for awhile.  When I realized that I needed to break this stall to reach my goal, I went back to basics, increased my exercise, and was honest with myself - when I eat the wrong things, I am not going to lose weight...   it's that simple...

Spent a couple of days in Vegas, "forgetting" to watch what I ate...   168 this morning...   I keep reminding myself that Halloween is coming, then my birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas - so I need to get back to my comfort zone quick!!!

My first stall was last Jan it was a long one it lasted 3 months. I didn't gain but, I didn't lose either. I spoke with the exercise psychologist at the surgery center and he told me to mix up my exercise, and the dietitian told me to chart and be honest and measure. Well I was eating a slight bit more then 1/2 cup and then with the exercise mix up I started losing again Now I will measure and chart at least 1 week out of a month and I do resistance training one day and aerobics the next.

Oh Michelle, hon, I am SO with you!  I can not seem to turn my scale around...  For the last several weeks, the lowest I've hit has been 205 instead of that being the highest I would normally hit in my 5 pound float...  So, most days lately, I am seeing 207 to 208 instead of 202 to 203.  Even with my period, that is hard to handle!  I always bloat and gain a few for Aunt Flo's visit, but this is ridiculous! 

And, the real kicker here is that winter is coming and I have to find ways to exercise inside as I live 30 mins from the closest gym!  Ugh!

My support group is going to start having a crossfit workout for the last hour of each monthly meeting.  I am hoping to learn more that I can do at home to exercise from those workouts.  In the meanwhile, I am struggling just like you!  If I had never seen that 197 on the scale back in Feb, I might still think it unreachable, but now I know that is NOT the case!  I need to get my butt back in gear with exercise AND curb the carbs back.  I know that a lot of this weight is water from the carbs....  But, knowing and doing are two VERY different things, aren't they???
