I'm so sorry about my lack of punctuality.  School has been kicking my butt lately, and I haven't been able to get on here as often as I would like to.

With the holidays coming, why don't we swap our favorite Thanksgiving recipes, and add what we can do to make it more WLS friendly. 

I always make homemade cranberry sauce, and while I don't want to use splenda (it bothers me sometimes, and sugar doesn't), I do plan on reducing the amount of sugar I put in it.  I think it calls for 1 cup, and I'm going to try to make it with 3/4 cup instead. 

This is how I look at it.  It's one day.  This is my first post WLS Thanksgiving.  So, I'll eat light during the day, and have about a bite of everything during dinner.  After all, come Black Friday, I'll be so busy shopping, all of those calories will just burn off!  (If only it were THAT easy!)

New Years Goal  140!  It's a stretch, but I like a challenge!

MY halloween goal was 209,  I made  it and  beat it!   My weight was 198 !  So I have also made it to ONDERLAND Yeah for me !  My New years Goal will be 190.  Good Luck to everyone !

Didn't quite make my Halloween goal of 213 lb.  I'm 5lbs over at 218lb.  I'll take it......

I don't know if my post to this went through so I'll do it again, just in case.

I ended my Halloween Challenge at 226 pounds which is 3 pounds below my updated Halloween goal weight. YEA!  Of course I've stalled since then so I'm currently maintaining 226.  I guess my body needs a break! 

I believe my New Year's goal is 214 pounds.  Hope I start losing again soon so I can reach it!

I was not close to my Halloween Goal

Current Weight: 148.8
Halloween Goal: 143

For the New Years Challenge, I have set a goal of
135

which translates to 13.8 lbs in 9 weeks This challenge will run up to my One year Anniversary. I had hoped to make it to 130 but I keep running about 3 lbs over the weight loss estimator.

current 223#...my body likes it here I guess.

future goal (permanent goal)...180#...that was my absolute WLS goal and it seems FAR from attainable at this point...so going forward I am leaving it there - in my face - to try to push a bit...

PS:  I have eaten candy...but I have cut back on snacks during the day and because of that I have maintained...NOT lost...but at least maintained.  The Holidays are looming and it is only gonna get harder from here...I can eat sugar...I rarely dump...I do have issues with hypoglycemia...but not consistently..so I am challenging myself to be more aware of what I put in my mouth and stay focused on my goal of 180#..
