Creating your own post - how to use emoticons
Emoticons associated with your post's title
One emoticon may be associated with your post's title. (We currently do not support embedding emoticons in post titles; the emoticon image you select to go with your post will appear to the left of the post's title.) To select an emoticon image to go with your post title, click the down-arrow marked Title Images to the left of the area where you will type your post. A menu of images should appear; click on one to make it the title image of your post. The image you have selected will appear outlined in red in the Title Images menu.
Emoticons inserted into your post
As many emoticons as you like may be inserted into the body of your post. To view the available emoticons which you may insert, click the down-arrow marked Message Emoticons to the left of the area where you type your post. You will see a list of textual representations of emoticons and their corresponding emoticon images. To insert an image into your post, type the corresponding text. For example, to include this image :-) in your post, you'd type :-), and to include this one  you'd type .Click here to view a list of all members who have posted to this message board.
Hi Jeannie,
I am pre-op and also a RN. I love herbs and gardening and hope that when I lose wt and also have a second knee replacement I can grow more things but for now herbs in containers are cool. I love to grow things to use to "spice up" my cooking and figure that will be important post op with bland foods at first with liquid and soft stuff.

Hi Gail!
How interesting. I'm also an RN. I garden in my yard and love herbs. I can still get around wel enough to do most of what I need to do in the garden, but get tired faster than I want to. My goal in this garden is to grow every kind of thyme I can find as well as finding lesser used herbs such as horehound and feverfew (I've managed to find both!). My current project is spreading mulch. I just got a truckload and can't use my driveway until I get it all moved. Also I am starting flowers from seed, mostly daisies and marigolds, for my wedding this summer.
When is your surgery scheduled?
Caryl
My favorite herb to grow is dill, I use it for everything. Unfortunatley the second year I grew it the gophers also they decided they liked it and ate it all.
I'm going to my first visit with the Surgeon tomorrow, I know I have a lot to learn and go through, but I'm hoping this is what I have been looking for. More energy, less stress physically and mentaly.
Hoping to see you around.
Just wanted to say hello and ask if there was any questions about gardening or herb gardens. If so hit me up! Thanks!
