OK well maybe this message board has been here for a while butI kept looking for it and just finally found it. Well Homeschoolers, how are all of you dealing with school and surgery? Did it slow down your school schedules? Do you keep schedules? How has WLS changed your schooling? Your family? I'm looking forward to being able to be active with my homeschooler. We have little to no PE right now. It is affecting my child's weight and physical fitness and mine of course. SO that will be a nice change. Glad this board is here. Hope we get it active and going strong.

Hi! I'm new to OH and, therefore, the boards here. I'm scheduled for my consult on 4/12...are you all pre or post op? Share your stories!!! I homeschool my two sons, ages 12 and 8..have for 5 years..I can't wait to have more energy and be able to play out in the backyard with them without getting winded! Tell me about you!

Hello ladies, I too am new to OH and it was nice to see this board available. I have 4 children, two are grown and on their own and then I have a 12 yo son and a 3 yo daughter. We hs year round and since I am just in the research stage of wls, it hasn't affected us at all, yet.... I am hoping for the lapband but I guess that is a bit premature as I don't even have a doctor picked out, I am at a loss as to where to start and was hoping to find some others that could point me in the right direction. I'll check back often. Laura in Lincoln
