I can't wait to RIDE again!

I too have grown up around horses. My Daddy and I still breed racing quarter horses and thoroughbreds and I do work with several equine rescue/placement agencies. I have not ridden in a few years because (A) I was afraid I'd break something if I DID take a spill...and (B) I was tired of hearing my horse grunt when I got on her. I have a yearling PMU filly that I adore and can't wait until I ride her. I am hoping for my surgery in the fall so that I'll be small enough to ride her when she's finally old enough. Visit Annie's (my filly) page at www.cerakko.com/annie.htm. Say a prayer that all my plans go as "I" have planned them. Robin in Georgia

i am so proud of you for adopting a pmu foal !!! freinds of mine run slepnir sanctuary, now called prism rescue , my freinds scott and anne have decided to step back form it for a while, it was taking a lot out ofthem , but if anyone is interested, pmu foals are wonderful horses !!! http://www.prismpmufoals.com/ this is something near and dear to my heart! and anyone with the knowledge and skill to work with young horses should really look into this, many of the former "scrub" foals people used to think of are gone!, most pmu foals are purebreed,(slepnir adopted a lot of paints and QH or 1/2 crosses, many are belgians,so if youre thinking of draft horses.... (IMHO) pmu foals are a byproduct of an industry seriously misled about womens health and should not be mistreated or led to slaughter because they are seen as a "Waste product" (opinion done)

I actually adopted my PMU filly from Sleipnir right before they changed to Prism! It's a WONDERFUL organization and everyone thinks my filly Juliet (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v64/skc515/Juliet/JULIET.jpg) is awesome and should be the mascot for PMU adoption.

I am getting ready to have surgery on March 9th. I currently own 5 horses. Two of them are my show horses. I showed last year but someone had videotaped me riding and it was disgusting so I am not showing until I can look good doing it. I have a beautiful paint mare and buckskin mare. Both are shown in Western Pleasure and are awesome to ride. I am taking this show season off and having a young girl ride my buckskin. I am buying an outfit in medium and going to work my butt off literally for next year. Kathy in Delaware
