New here . . . looking for horsey friends
Hello Everyone,
I am new to the boards here at OBHelp. I have been learning so much about all the different kinds of WLS and have a date of 10/12 for my surgery.
I have been riding for many years, have a small ran*****entral Florida, (everything seems to be okay from the last two hurricanes - havent heard from my horse/house-sitter since Jeanne hit last night) and love to ride and care for horses.
I am in San Clemente now on an extra long vacation, any horse people in southern Cal?

Hi Anita!
I am definitely a horse person! I have been riding since the age of 2! I am so passionate about horses! I raised and trained my own when I was just 11 years old. Unfortunately, I don't have any now, but you can bet that I will have another one some day! Welcome to CA and I am glad all is well with your ranch!

Hey Anita. I have Americain Saddlebreds, and a Tennessee Walker that I trail ride. I have showed and rode my entire life. I just found this Forum, and I have been a member since July!!!! I have told my husband that I wasn't going to ride until I have my surgery. It is about to kill me!!!!!!!!!! We trail ride alot, and I miss it something awful. I haven't shown in a couple years. My weight has really discouraged me, I don't feel like I can ride right. I have always rode horses with alot of " motor", and for the last couple of years I have had to ride a more calm horse because my balance feels off. I should have my surgery some where around Jan or Feb. So, next summer they will have to drag me off a horse! I am not from Cal, but I thought I would write ya anyway. Happy Riding, Cindy
