I was little, and it was kind of sad... I wanted the thing to go faster, but all these adults were content with this 5 mph nonsense. Also, it was neat being on something that had a mind of its own, so I did my best to try not to steer it anywher. I wanted to be on a galloping horse that went wherever it wanted to. Alas this horse just moseyed on down the scenic roads surrounding some cabin community on some lake in Washington State. That horse probably isn't alive any more, I bet. This was in 1980. I was sore (barely able to walk upright) for the next 3 days, though, so I guess it was more of a ride than it had seemed at the time. At the end of it I was summarily praised for having avoided getting kicked by the creature while playing with its tail from behind.
