Ok Everyone introduce themselves and tell about your horses
Sorry! How rude of me!
Welcome, Nicole!
I started to email some of the people on the horses forum list, but it wouldn't let me send emails to more than five people. Protection against ads and solicitation, I guess...which I suppose was what I was doing....
Oh well. I tried.
I am only online late at night. Work and ride all day.
Indie moves close to home one week from today, can't wait! Also, my psych eval and my meeting with my PCP went really well this week. Now begins the waiting game with BCBS!
I am having way too much fun with these emoticons. What a loony.
(been waiting to use that one!)
Lizzie

Hi Lizzie,
I started laughing when I realized something. Your horse's name is Indie. Well the Half Perch im looking at is named Indy. And a filly at that. At almost 15 hands at just over a year old. Its also kinda amuzing that we both live in the same state. Yeah im waitin till I get back to work and such and take care of some more bills. And see how things go. If it looks good I'll probably end up getting Indy. All I know is ground manners are important to me but I like fiestiness undersaddle, thus my thing for pleasure horses...lol. But one thing she would learn before going undersaddle is driving. I love that too. All I know is I can't wait to ride again.
Catch ya later,
Nicole

Howdy Fellow Horse Lovers!
I'm Chris from Hanna, Indiana (the true Middle of No Where USA) but I love it here.
I have 3 horses, 6 y/o QH Dan, 6 y/o QH Buckskin Buckie, and 10 y/o QH Paint, Rocky. Also have 2 miniature mediterranian donkeys, 14 y/o Hello Ted, and 19 y/o Julio!
Rocky and I were quite active in IN/IL CMO until my job forced me to work on weekends and miss all the rides!
Now, I'm retired and looking forward to being active in the club again sometime soon!
I had an open RNY at Barix Clinic in Ypsilanti Michigan on August 9 and have lost 33 lbs so far! Feeling great and looking forward to the return to "real food" in a little over a week!
I've always been overweight, so Rocky will be very thrilled once I lose the rest of these extra pounds!
This horse forum is an excellent idea!! Looking forward to meeting and chatting with all of you!!
GIDDYUP!

I have a Friesian stallion named Dante, a Gypsy stallion named Phantom. We have several mares that we use for breeding, QH, TB, Morgan, Friesian, Perchron. Too many to name.
If anyone is looking we have several foals from this year and five coming next year! I only let them go to good homes as it is my responsiblity as a breeder to make sure they have great lives when they leave me!!!
We are expecting our first Gypsy/Perch cross in March, I am soooo excited!!!

Hi Everybody,
My name is Cheryl, I live in Artesia, New Mexico, I'm researching RNY and plan to have my surgery as soon as secondary insurance kicks in. I have one child (a son), age 14 and a wonderful husband.
We own 4 horses, 21 year old AQHA mare, 6 year old AHC mare, 4 year old AHC mare and our newest member Schematic 16.2 hand tall, 2 year old AHC stallion from Canada. We started our farm in 2003 and hope to grow. I started showing western pleasure when I was 14 years old and still do at the tender age of 44 LOL.
We just got Schemer back from a trainer that started him and rode him for 14 days. I had my first ride on Schemer 3 days ago and plan to get 30 more rides on him before he goes on vacation for the winter. We will start our breeding program in late February 2006.
My goal for 2006 is to get RNY surgery and Hit the AHC show circuit with Schemer to win a ROM title. Pictures coming soon.
