Hi everybody, Hay Nicole, I just wanted to ask how old you are by your journal I would say about 23, is that correct? anyway where did you get all your knowledge from you seem to know a lot about horses? Did you have fun at the congress were there a lot of vendors. I heard that a person can pick up nice show clothes and equipment at the congress.

Your life story sounds alot like mine plus 22 more years. I didn't start off so young but was 6 when I got my first pony. I didn't have her long. She would do everything but buck. So Mom got worried and sold her. I started riding other folks ponies and horses (without mom's knowledge, LOL). When I was 14 I started showing, and never stopped untill late this year. I did show this year at a local club with our 3 year old filly. I rode her once in Walk Trot green horse (just wanted to see what she would do). We also showed in Halter and showmanship. We were in-line for high point showmanship but my filly had problems with her deep flexior tendon so we missed the last show. So she is on stall rest. It's funny this filly is a nut at home but at the shows she's all business. I showed her at the Road Runner Classic as a yearling, under 4 judges (my biggest show ever, very nerve racking, LOL). Everybody commented on how good she was (if only they knew, LOL). She never spooked at anything and listened so good. We ended up pulling 3rds in yearly lounge line, and yearling trail in hand (a new class AHC has added). I'm strickily a western pleasure rider but getting very board with it. I just started showing showmanship 2 years ago and Love it, we still need to work alot on our 360's. I used to show alot of Walking and Gaited horses but got out of that due to crullity issues. Can you describe some of the tops, that were at the congress? I make my own show clothes. I heard that slinky's are out and the big french cuffs and collars are in. I've never gotten into the fades, but I do like the Elvis look. Lots of bling. LOL
