I have been studying about life on a houseboat.....

And from what I have read I could do it quite easily......I have a 12 year old son that loves the sea......And a hubby that does too......All I have to do is get the required paperwork and forms filled out......And away we go...I also heard that a 50 foot is the best size for a family of 3....So we will have to get one that big......I will probably get my captains license as well as him getting his...Just in case.......But our son will be a good seaman and know as much as we do....Janice

We're looking into it too but haven't gotten very far. It would only be my husband and myself and I think we would want to dock on fresh water. Where have you done your research?
