I have a date!!

August 24th! 72 more days! I am soooo excited! I was bummed about it being so late in the summer but the more I think about it, the more excited I get. I can't believe this will be my last "fat" summer! I feel very blessed to have gotten approved for this surgery. I wish everyone waiting for a surgery date or approval much luck and support. Congrats!!! I heard back from Harriet that I have completed all my testing that I needed to do and I am looking at a late 2005 to early 2006 date. wahhh talk about a let down BUT, I am so HAPPY for you doing the HAPPY dance-

Lori, thanks for letting us know. I'm sorry you aren't getting in sooner, but the good part of it is that you have time to diet and shrink your liver and yourself! Time will go by really fast, I'm sure. It's so good to at last have a date, isn't it? Mari

I am much better about the date now. And I am thankful that it gives me time to lose some weight and shrink my liver. I know the time will fly by and I won't be ready when the day finally comes!
