Not frum but frum-friendly!

Hi all, My name is Jodi, and I'm hoping to have the Lap-Band done within the next couple of months. I just read Shayna's profile and I feel the way you did -- now that I've finally made the decision, I want to do it NOW! Anyway, I was raised Reform/Conservative, but my husband used to be Lubavitch. So we're sort of a cross between Conservative (me) and Modern Orthodox (him). We have two sweet little boys. Jacob is 4, and Danny is 18 months old. We also have two cats (Scuzzy and Gooey). I am 33 and have been overweight since I was about 19. I'm done with it!!!! My surgical consult is scheduled for April 7th with Dr. Santiago Horgan. On the same day, I will see their therapist for the psych consult and their dietician. I know my insurance plan (Great-West) covers WLS, so I'm hoping for a quick approval... we'll see. Hi Jodi, hope everything is going well for you. Just got my papers today to see the diet dr, and the shrink. Hope to have surgery sometime late this year or early next. Hope to hear from you soon, have a happy new year. Steve
