That is sooo cool....I love to sing and I never would have gotten up in front of anyone to sing if I didnt have my WLS.
I dont terrific but I am not too bad....I am more of a country singer...my fav right now is Gretchen Wilsons "Redneck Woman" Well have fun everyone!

I needed to post the location a little better -- it's at the NW corner of Indian School Road and Marshall Way. Called Cook N' Jacks.
Be sure to get the chop salad -- it's in really tiny pieces.
It's a good group of singers there -- non-competitive types. There for the fun of it.

Just wanted to say that I went to the Blue Moon Bar on Alexander Street in Rochester, one week after my Lap RNY. I had a great time at their Karaoke. The locals were very gracious to us Canadian tourists. Thanks Rochester.

Sharon that sounds like an awesome time. i'm due to have surgery in jan. I run a karaoke system here in michigan and have been for the last 3 yrs. my partner will be running the system while i recover but i'll soon be right back at it i love the people and their support of me has been the one thing in my life i can always count on. and you've given me an awesome idea once i'm on my way to goal i just might have to hold a WLS karaoke party here in michigan an see how many turn out.

What a great idea. I live in Maryland and waiting for my surgery on 12/13/04. Anyone in the Baltimore/Annapolis area that is into Karaoke, please let me know. Would love to get a group of weight loss patients together for a night of fun.

Every Sunday night from 9 to 1... Hunnys Bar, located on the main floor of Howard Johnson's Queen Street (at Kennedy Rd) location.. holds a Karaoke show. The host is Rick Marcoux of Showtime Karaoke. Come on out and watch me turn into a butterfly after my Dec 15th (2004) surgery.
