Hello
Hello everyone...my name is Sharon and I have been on the board now for a few months reading all your supportive posts, but have yet to interduce myself. I started this journey a couple of years ago, wanting help but not really knowing where to get it. To make a long story short, I had my grastic bypass on Sept 18th and can't believe how smooth things have went!! Dr Rodriguez did my surgury at Deconess, and he is really great. I guess I am still in a little shock, but I have had no problems at all except getting in all those fluids AND protien. Seems like everyone does! Well I am not a computer wiz, even though I work on one all day, but I hope to be included in all this love and support you all share. I know I will need you all. Please include me in your prayers and I will do the same for you. BTW...Jane , Amy and Mimi are my husbands cousins, so I know they will be there for me. I have a lot of weight to lose to catch up with them!! Hope this wasn't to long, but I wanted to say Hi to everyone. Sharon

Hi Dannyell, I am happy to meet you...I agree, even though I may have so much support here at home, it is nice to talk to people who are walking on the same path as you are and may be a little farther down the road, and can stop you from making a mistake before it happens. I hope we can talk again soon! Sharon
And you'll be giving expert advice to the lurkers that are seeking information.
By the way, having Jane, Mimi, Sarah, and Amy on your side is probably the best support group anyone could have!
Take care--
Dee
Well welcome my dear!!!! So good to hear from you. Stay off the scale for a little while if you can and take your time.
I will be 2 years out on Oct 17. The time flies by. Journal everything. The wow moments are wonderful and then when you are two years out and having a rough few weeks its great to go back and remember those things. And most of all take a picture each month. You will be amazed. I had my surgery in Oct and by Christmas I had lost 50lbs.....so.....that gives you some idea what you are looking at. Call anytime. Love and Prayers Janie
TORNADO AGAIN. BEWARE OF THE WITCHES!
