Topic: NEW INDIANA GROUP FOR INDIANA MEMBERS!
Welc
me!
This group is NEW and (ONLY) for the Men and Women of Indiana to come and share stories, share hope, and get support from one another through this life changing tool.
I am trying to gather all the members from Indiana and get us together in one GREAT group! There is more than CORN in Indiana there are all the great people who have gone through the many struggles with weight and weight related issues, and now we are or have done something about it!

Come post some questions, or post about how your surgery has went.
If your new and hoping to have surgery, or you have had it come share and get support and meet some new friends!
If you know of any support groups in your area come post them for ones who may be looking.
Just join and talk about whatever may cross your mind, be it family, surgery, fears, questions, or just to meet new friends maybe around your area.

Hey Judy - I never check this board but just now saw your post! Hopefully they will email you a response. We are on the cusp of dispatching your area for state police. We have gamies that run the Heppner area. Are you still dispatching?
If you want to, check out the dispatchers board here - not busy but maybe we'll spark some life into it. Here is the link: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/member-interests/dispatchers/

Topic: RE: Wow - graveyard out there!
Hey,
I was a 911 dispatcher for 11years all or most all on graveyard shift. I loved that shift. I gained about 15lbs a year. :')

Hey Jamie, sounds like you keep yourself busy regardless. I'm a paramedic and for the first time in over a decade, I'm not working and its nerve wracking. Can I ask, where are you getting your education?
On another note, I know Kentucky doesn't pay much nor does any of the surrounding areas...professionally speaking, EMS or FD isn't very financially rewarding in that area.
If you'd like to chat, I'd love to hear from you!

Hi Barb... and everyone else!
My name is Jamie and I wish I could be an LEO.... lol... I have a degree in Police Science & Administration and another that I am almost finished with in Administration and Public Managment but no one wants to hire a cop who can't get their fat butt over a fence....LOL! I am also an EMT but I do not currently work b/c where hubby got stationed they only pay $6 and hour and that will not cover babysitting! So I stay at home and work on finihsing my last degree (who am I kidding, I will probably go on to graduate school someday... I am an eternal student!) Anyways, I just wanted to say Hi... I really should get off to bed... it is 2 am here and I have so much to do in the morning (ick... even on vacation I have to much to do! HA!)
Blessings~ Jamie
