LPN new to this site!!!!

Hello, My name is Michelle and I have been an LPN for 7 years. I had the RNY on September 20, 2005 and have lost 110 pounds. I still have about 50-60 pounds to go. I currently work in a long term care facility. I am the staff development coordinator/HR person. I do scheduling and inservicing. I also work the floor as needed. I'm glad that I was wondering around and found a site just for the LPN'S. We need a spot where we can chat with each other. ~Michelle Allard~

Hi Michelle, My name is Mary (pre-op) and I am new to this site--I found it via a support group in Minnesota two weeks ago. I have been an LPN for about 10 years--currently not working. We just moved here from California last month. I too was previously a Director of Staff Development in a long term care facility. I don't think this messageboard is as active as some of the others.
