???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I'm here and waiting for my surgery date. My husband doesn';t seem very supportive when I talk to him about it. It's typical though because I always feel alone in everything I do.........so this will just be another thing. My family is so so on the support. If it wasn't for this website.......I would be majorly depressed about my decision for WLS.

Tracie,
My heart goes out to you. I know how it is when the Hubby isn't on board. I don't think mine was really on board with the idea of me having this surgery. I think he felt that in being his wife he was to take care of me. We had several heated arguements over it. It wasn't until I let him know that I was going to do this weather he like it or not that he started come around. Oh that and when I started losing weight. Don't get me wrong he loves me with all of his heart as I am sure you husband does too. He just didn't see me as being that big and didn't think that I need this surgery. Good think I wasn't doin it for him, huh?

Good thing I'm not doing it for my husband also! Sometimes I wonder if he thinks I'm going to get skinny and leave him. Maybe because this is all about me for a change and the fact that I didn't even ask his advice? I feel like it is my body and I'm the one that is miserable so I am the one who wants to feel better and have this surgery. Maybe like you say..........he will come around eventually. Thanks,
Tracie
