We Are Youth Leaders!!!!!
My Husband and I were announced to the church yesterday to be the new youth leaders. I had always told everyone that I didn't want to head up the youth. I didn't think at my weight I would be able to keep up. However, now that the Lord has blessed me with WLS I feel that I have a new purpose. I am losing weight and finding my energy. I look forward to working with these young people. Please pray for us to be annointed by God's touch.

Of course count David and I!!!! We met on this site 4 years ago thru the chat room! We just went through plastics together (one week apart) about 4 months ago! Our Wedding Anniversary is May 1 and will be 3 years!!!

My husband and I are both planning to have the surgery. We are currently waiting for our dates. Our Dr. will NOT do our surgeries on the same day. My husband asked. But will consider a few weeks apart depending on the first to goes recovery.

MARRIED- 2.5 years
CHILDREN- 2 - My sone is going to be 18 in May, My daughter is 16.
WORK- I am a domestic engineer with a master in child development. I am a stay at home Mom/Wife. However, I have a degree for real and use to be in the Accounting field.
LIVE- I love living in Brazoria, Texas (the craddle of TEXAS)
HOBBIES- Working with the youth at our church. Being surrounded by friends and family, Working in my yard, Coming to this site, And being surrounded by my Christian family. I love being in the presence of my Lord and saviour.

Good thing I'm not doing it for my husband also! Sometimes I wonder if he thinks I'm going to get skinny and leave him. Maybe because this is all about me for a change and the fact that I didn't even ask his advice? I feel like it is my body and I'm the one that is miserable so I am the one who wants to feel better and have this surgery. Maybe like you say..........he will come around eventually. Thanks,

My heart goes out to you. I know how it is when the Hubby isn't on board. I don't think mine was really on board with the idea of me having this surgery. I think he felt that in being his wife he was to take care of me. We had several heated arguements over it. It wasn't until I let him know that I was going to do this weather he like it or not that he started come around. Oh that and when I started losing weight. Don't get me wrong he loves me with all of his heart as I am sure you husband does too. He just didn't see me as being that big and didn't think that I need this surgery. Good think I wasn't doin it for him, huh?
