I look strange - PS questions
Ok - now I KNOW everyone heals differently after plastic surgery -- and it takes awhile to get use to going from saggy D's to "perky, uplifted D's" - but I still feel I look "strange".
1) since I wanted to get an uplift I knew there was a possibility of loss of sensation in the nipple -- well of course - it HAD to happen to me --
-- but there seems to be a 1-2 inch hard section around my nipple that you can feel. It doesn't hurt - but when my boyfriend touches my breasts it bothers me that there's a hard ridge that can be felt. Anyone know if this is something that can be fixed?
2) I had an extended TT - but when the skin was pulled down and re-sewn - the shape of my stitch line is in a large "V" -- think of the high sides of the V as my hips, and the lower point of the "V" is my pubic area -- anyway - the area below my belly button and above my pubic area poouches out further then the rest of my belly and hips -- when you look straight at me, you can't notice it - but from the side - you can really see it --
I don't like it AT All -- of course it's better then my huge belly -- but after paying over $16,000 out of pocket -- I want it to look "normal".
Has this happened to anyone? Do you know if this can be fixed?
I had said something to my doctor about these things before - and I was about 6-8 weeks out at the time, he basically said -- each breast most likely will heal differently.... basically saying -- that's the way the surgery goes.... and that my pus*y pooch (sorry guys) - is "fine".....
any comments or thoughts? Don't want to say names, but he's been with a practice in Glen Burnie/Annapolis for years and has been a P/S for at least 12-15 years...so he's not some new kid doctor right out of school.
I don't check OH often - so if you could write to my hotmail dot com address, I (robininmd) would appreciate it!
Thanks!
Robin

You should check out the Plastic Surgery message board. There are tons of recovery stories there, and you might get some perspective on when to expect your body to "even out," if at all. Without knowing how far out you are from your surgery, I can't even begin to have an opinion, but many patients go months before swelling and hard spots subside.
Here's what I know about the "gang" --
Nancy moved to NJ and her 40th b-day is today. Sue and I are going up to Atlantic City the end of the month to meet her there and celebrate.
Sue is doing fine - she's getting her arms and legs done in January.
Have no idea about Karen -- she always had too much drama in her life for me....
My daughter will be 21 in Nov and is living up in PA (near Pittsburgh) going to school. Johnny and I are going on 2 yrs, 3 months -- he's talked about marriage - but I'm not ready for that! LoL
What's going on with you? Are you still with the guy from St. Patrick's Day? How's your daughter?
