Sunday, 10/21 Get-Together @ Weber's Farm

Hi honey ... I"m home!!!! Not sure about Sunday yet.   It will depend on how I feel after the lithotripsy on Thursday.   I got to the office at 7:30 this morning and by 7:45 the vacation glow/bubble had been burst!!!!   Trying to stay mellow at least through the day. Welcome back!  So didja have fun?  I'm a subscriber to the "15 minutes under the fluorescent light theory," that's all the time it takes for reality to slap you in the face!!!!  Was Lefty a wild boy? We had a very laid back time!!!   Hung out on the 'patio' in the sun and read a lot (I think I finished 3 complete books and got a good start on a 4th on the way home yesterday).   Visited with friends.   Didn't spend a whole lot of moola (which is a good thing).   Never went out to eat except to go to Waffle House yesterday a.m. before we started home. Lefty was reasonably well behaved.   He tried to jump out of the top of the kennel on the way down .. so coming home we just left him out of the kennel.   He and I spent vast amounts of time yesterday curled up on the bed napping!!! I've read your saga .. and I can just say .. as frustrated as I get with Mr Mo .. I think I'll just keep him  ... for two reasons .. 1) it wouldn't be fair to dump him into the dating pool .. and 2) I don't want to have to go there. Have you heard anything on the new(??) job .. has it closed yet .. interview scheduled .. etc ??? Hugs & smoochies, Mo

Oh, I am sooooo jealous - both of the reading and the napping.  I've learned that when I lay down on the sofa, it says to Happy, "It's bouncing time!!"  There is  no rest with my little bottle rocket!!!!! You do realize that every time Lefty pulls a stunt, it's because Poncho's there whispering in his ear, "C'mon, don't be a wuss - jump!" don't you??? Ah, yes, internet dating - I'm thinking of forming a club - S.A.I.D. (Singles Against Internet Dating)!!  It's been an experience, one I'm not anxious to revisit!!! The application process closed on 10/5, they're just waiting to hear when somebody from HR is available to sit on the interview board.  I've had several people make calls on my behalf, but don't want to be too confident, but am pretty hopeful.  I know I can do the job, it's just them having to decide who they want.  Hopefully, I'll hear something this week or early next.  I'm tired of waiting - AND DRIVING!!!! Diana - Wow, the devil is quite the businessman!!!  He owns soooo many places like that - Rheb's Candies, Berger's Cookies, and now Weber's!!  It's a wonder he has a chance to maintain hell with all that he's got going on!!! So are you gonna join us? Tia

Oh, yeah, mine, too!!!  I can still do a few pieces of Rheb's, but only a bite, if that, of a Berger's cookie.  But that's okay, makes me appreciate them even more!!! Tia
