Ouch

Spent Thanksgiving in the emergency room. I sliced the tip of my finger off..nothing they can do for the tip. It is trobbing!!! Have to go see a hand specialist in 3 or 4 days. And this was my last Thanksgiving before surgery...I was going to live it up one last time. Anyway forgive me if I do not reply..it is very hard to type with this huge bandage on. Hope everyone else had a good day!

Oh my goodness! You do certainly manage to have some interesting things happen to you!!!!!! No need to reply, just know that I hope you heal quickly with no complications! Try to take something for the pain if you can and get some rest.

Ouch is right!!  You poor thing!!  I am so sorry!!  Just take it easy and try to keep your mind off of it!!

Thanks everyone...it is still trobbing but I went to work today (plain clothes) desk duty since it is my "trigger" finger. Have to be cleared by a hand specialist before returning for regular duty. Thanks for all the support and phone calls I really appreciate it.

I know that really hurt I did my thumb tip in last March and that thing was so painful that I couldn't sleep the whole night. I didn't go to the hospital til the next day because I was on overtime at the fire department. The next day the bandage was stuck to the wound and then when the doc told me to hold it underwater I thought i was going to cry. Your tip will never feel the same again it stays kinda numb. Hope you heal soon and the pain subsides.

 dam dont want to be around if you gotta shoot anyone right now, only joking , sorry if your down but look at it like this , your gonna be recouping from both surgerys at same time so you will have many pain meds to help  and friends too boot. good luck and STAY AWAY FROM THE DANGER . your luck is as bad as mine

Thanks everyone..it is healing nicely...when I change my bandage my four year old puts one of his "special" Disney bandaids on to help. Sorry for not writing much very hard to type without your index finger.
