HAPPY FIRST DAY OF DECEMBER!!!  24 MORE DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!!  We did - it was just SOOOOO busy, I'm ALMOST glad to be back at work!!  Work keeps me in an eating/drinking routine which can get screwed up when I'm off, so that's the only GOOD thing about coming back!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  That we had a happy, peaceful Thanksgiving day!  No drama, no arguments, just - PEACE!!!

2.  That one boss is off most of this week.  Of course, that means I'll be stuck with the OTHER, but you can't have it all!!  My desk was surprisingly NOT overflowing - but things tend to slow down this time of year anyway with everyone trying to use leave so they don't lose it.

3.  That I got some great deals on Black Friday and over the weekend!!  Some Christmas shopping is actually done!!!  WOO-HOO!!!

Have a great day!

This will be a hard one since right now I'm sitting here in pain - been up around 3 hours
now taking care of 2 sick parents and the diabetic dog and myself. ( which reminds me
its time for my shot).

1.  As I said yesterday for DVR;s insistance on the IVC filter:  if not for that I would
be in the hospital now I am sure.

2.  For the phonecalls , ims, emails and texts that will keep me sane thru all this.

3.  For fax machines :  was able to send off info to PCP and GYN first thing this morning-
I can remember when faxes just came out and how we marveled at them -  this morning
just makes me grateful for modern technology.

I'm not working today so I will probably be popping on from time to time.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi Everyone!

So sorry to hear about the ills, aches, and pains of everyone...FEEL BETTER!!!!

I'm back to work tomorrow and will probably only be able to catch up in the evenings since I'll be busy, busy, busy catching up to the nightmare that can be my job!

That said, today I'm thankful...

1.  For having a job to go back to.  I've gotten a ton of e-mails saying how much I've been missed, well my expertise anyways.  I'm glad that "they" got a wakeup call and see just how much I know and do all the time.  Good to know that I have job security!

2.  That although I wish I wasn't going back to work, I'll be happy for a routine where I'm up more hours of the day and it will hopefully be easier to get all my fluids, vits, and meals in during the day.

3.  For online shopping.  I got at least half of my shopping done on Friday in less than an hour!  WOOHOO!!

Good Morning - I am feeling kind of blah today. My shoulder is acting up and I am mad at myself. So I have to work hard on this list today....

1 - That my Uncle continues to improve. There is actually talk of him coming home by the weekend!

2 - That I had a very nice Thanksgiving with my friends.

3 - That I actually got an early start on my baking (done primarily because I have some early events to attend and will need some things ready to bring).

Have a good day!

P.S. I have a lot to do at work today. So I am not sure how often I may be able to read and/or post.

Hi Deb!!!

Glad your Turkey Day was a nice one!!!  I'm REALLY glad to hear your uncle's improving - what a nice Christmas gift that would be for him to come home this weekend.

We're waiting on some fairly serious news about my favorite aunt and Mom's baby sister, so I'll be on pins and needles all week.  She's a tough cookie, but she's been through two bouts of cancer already and I dread the thought that there could be a third - and she's only 54!!!!

I'm going to start my baking this week!!  Can't wait!!  Actually, I'm more excited about the smells and the feeling I get from doing it as opposed to actually sampling the products!! LOL!!!

Have a great day!

I'm SO glad you're okay.  Well, relatively speaking, sick parents aside.

STAY ON TOP OF THIS!!!  I mean it, do not push yourself to the background because your parents are sick.

If you need something, you call me - you know I can usually take off with a moment's notice, and Pikesville's not that far from you.

Stay on top of the doctors, too - if you don't get answers in a reasonable amount of time, call them again - and keep calling until you do!!!

DO NOT MAKE ME COME UP THERE!!!!

Love you,

Tia
