3 more days til Loserville

I have 3 laps to go til I get to loserville. I am getting a little nervous now with thoughts going through my head that shouldn't. I just want to get in there and get it over with. This waiting game sucks big time, but after all the fighting with the insurance company it will be well worth it for my health and my well being. So throw those prayers this way and slide over jilly I am on my way to the checkered flag. I want to thank all those who have supported me throughout all this and for answering my questions when I was a rookie. Now that I am seasoned hopefully I can help others on their journey and help them feel good about themselves also. I will drop a line the night before I go in so somebody can finally clean that loser's spot on the bench off for me. Thanks to Tia for being my angel too your a wonderful friend.

You may find your emotions to be all over the place over the next couple of days - it's all perfectly normal, don't worry!!!

I think of all the people I have seen go through this, I don't think I've ever seen anyone as prepared as you for this. It's going to be a breeze for you and I can't wait to hear from Tia saying that you got through it with flying colors! you're going to be a svelt person before you know it!

Hey Dusty! You will definitely be in my thoughts as I cruise the halls of GBMC. I'll be sharing your pain lol. The emotions you are having are completely normal and if you didn't have them THAT is when you should question it. Nervous, excited, scared, etc. You should be all over the map. After surgery at some point you might even question WTF did I do??? Remember, that port site is going to be REALLY sore for 2-3 weeks and it feels worse before it feels better. You'll understand what I mean when you are working through it. Being told what to expect never completely prepares you for what you encounter. Be well and have a speedy recovery!
