Good Morning,

Yes, I agree it was a great weekend~!

1 - For having a wonderful weekend with friends and getting everything that had to be done, DONE (at least for now - I still have a lot more to do for the holidays).

2 - Surprises - While at the restaurant yesterday, there was a 50-50 raffle for charity and I WON! I am not usually a lucky person, so I was quite surprsed. Even though things are strained right now as they are for everyone, I am OK. So I have decided to give my winnings to someone else. I have already picked the person. For me, the thrill of winning was enough. And this is allowing me to give someone a special Christmas gift!

3 - I have to say I love the fact that the Ravens won! They still have some challenging games to go. It would be really great if they could make the playoffs. But even if they don't, this has been a much more exciting year for them!

Good morning!!

As I stated in my post, I had a great time yesterday, too.  Even in pain, which, thankfully, has subsided somewhat, I just loved seeing everyone.

I didn't get good news from the dentist - I'll be in physical and financial pain for a while - at least 2 root canals, definitely 1, maybe 2 pulled teeth, 2-3 bridges or implants, and several fillings.  Trust me, it's not from NOT taking care of my teeth, I just seem to have drawn the short straw on dental health.  SIGH.

So, since I didn't get much sleep in the last 3 days, I'm headed home (after a stop at the store for s/f popsicles and soup) to sleep as much of the rest of the day away as I can.

My appointment with the root canal guy is on Thursday - can't wait!!!  Even the fact that he's a great dentist and a piece of eye candy isn't much consolation right now!!!!

I'll be back to work tomorrow morning and online then!!

Hugs,

Tia

Tia, I am so sorry you are not feeling well.  Toothaches are like earaches, they are an unbareable pain.  I hope you feel better soon!

Hugs,

Well, you knew he'd say root canal...but TWO?!  UGH!!  Mike is in a similar boat as you dentally but trying to come up with the money that insurance doesn't cover is not a small chore!

Hang in there and FEEL BETTER!!

Good Morning, Everyone!  I'm glad everyone had a great time yesterday!  I wish I had been able to attend.

Today, I am grateful:

1.  That my family and I have worked out our differences, and are back on track.

2.  For my sons ENT Doctor.  I wish I had took Hunter to him a long time ago, because these tubes are a life saver!

3.  For all the people who understand and know the true meaning of Christmas.  It is nice to see that it hasn't been forgotten.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning All,

Today I'm thankful...

1.  For having the weekend off after my first semi-full week back at work.  Loved my naps!

2.  For finally meeting Tia, Darla, Debbie, Ren, Terry, Aime, and Robin.  And for also meeting Tia's Dad, Ren'd daughter Rachel, Terry's McHubby, and Aime's grandson Paul (what a super cutie)!  Had a great time and learned some new things.

3.  For lots of blankets and lots of cuddly boys (and yes, that includes Mike along with the dawgs).  I'm always FREEZING these days and they make me so much warmer.

1.  I'm home from work.

2.  My 10 year old is becoming responsible.  He washed the dinner dishes without being asked.

3.  Ditto on Christmas music.  I could really listen to it year round.
