3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!!

Good morning!!!!  Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!!  Besides being in horrific pain on Friday and then completely wiped out from said pain on Saturday, I'm doing better.  I think the antibiotics are kicking in!!!  I got better news at my root canal on Thursday than I'd expected - it looks like they'll be able to save a tooth or two and perhaps do the dental implant in one visit - thus lessening my chances of looking like a crack-ho!!!!  LOL!!!!!

So today, I'm grateful for:

1.  Even though it was JUST dental work, I SO appreciate the calls, texts and emails I got while I've been so miserable.  I definitely owe some folks some follow-ups!!!!

2.  My sweet B - We baked cookies on Saturday, poor K was sick (again!), so we couldn't let her handle the cookie dough.  This was the first year that B really wanted to be involved, so he helped me scoop the chocolate chip cookie dough, roll, flatten and decorate the sugar cookies and peanut butter cookies and of course, taste test!!!  He declared them, "AWESOME!"  Next weekend is K's turn!  I also dipped 180 pretzels in chocolate for teacher gifts and made peppermint bark.  Having some extra hands makes it slower work, but it was MUCH more fun!!

3.  That hopefully, this is my last week of work for the rest of the year!!  We'll see.  I've been out so much that I might be rethinking ALL of my time off.  We'll see.

So that's it for me!!!  Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Hugs,

Tia

got my days off to a good start and I am feeling mentally and physically better.

3.  That tonight is my Pilates reformer class:  have not been in two weeks so I just  can not

Good Morning Everyone!

Tia - I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better. It is bad enough to have tooth pain any any time, but even worse when you have things you want to do and enjoy, like at this time of year. I am glad you got some fun in this weekend.

1 - Decluttering - AHHHHHHHHH - I finally got all of the old clothes out of the house and delivered to Goodwill! This was compounded by the fact that I had pulled clothes out of storage that I forgot I had. So this was clweaning both my closet and storage. Then I had to list everything so that I can count it for my taxes. It feels so good to be able to see sections of floor again and to have all of those boxes and things gone!

2 - Even though I still have a lot more to do for the holidays, I am making progress. So I have a feeling of satisfaction on the things that are done. I just love falling to sleep with the Christmas candles inthe windows! (Cards are not yet done, but I am getting closer to that one!)

3 - For life, my family, my friends, including all of you!

Hi Deb -

Oh, yeah, this pain has really rocked me to my core!!!  As long as I'm careful, I should be good to go until it's time for the next procedure.  An apicoectomy - sounds like fun, huh?  Fortunately, that's not until January 15, so as long as nothing else happens, I should be able to make it until then!!!

Doesn't decluttering feel WONDERFUL???  Along with sleep, that's on my list of things to do while I'm off from work!!!!  Good for you!!!  Physical decluttering leads to mental decluttering, which is equally important!!!!!

I DID have fun baking and cooking this weekend.  I also forgot to mention that along with my fave aunt, my Mom and I hosted our annual Christmas tea/cookie exchange yesterday.  We did tea, scones, tea sandwiches, sweets, etc.  It's a lot of work but a lot of fun!!!

Right there with ya on the cards - gotta head to the post office today for stamps and they're in the mail!!!  Here's to getting it all done in the next T-E-N DAYS!!!!!!

I'm grateful for your friendship, too!!!!!!!!  It means SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!!

Hugs,

Tia

RNY on 10/06/08 with
1. That this past week and weekend a few Angels reminded me that the Christmas spirit still lives, and Santa *really* does exsist!

2. That on Saturday our Christmas celebration for Jordan and her sisters went awesome!! They had a great time and the day was very enjoyable!

3. That Jordan sat on Santas lap for a picture yesterday!! I was really worried with her age she would be scared! She was a little timid at first but when up there and even managed to tell him some of the things she wanted!! lol It was cute!!

Good morning Everyone!

Tia - I am also glad that you won't be looking like a "crack-ho" also lol!  You are too much lol!  I am glad that you are feeling better.  I still have to finish my cookies.  Hunter and I did sugar cookies, but we still have chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies to do.

Today, I am grateful:

1.  That I was very productive yesterday.  I went through all of Hunter's clothes and toys, and they are ready to go to the church.  I also did a lot of laundry, and I have more waiting for me when I get home.

2.  For my doctor prescribing me Vyvanse lol!  If it wasn't for it, I wouldn't be awake right now lol.  I have only had about an hour of sleep!

3.  That my hair is finally growing out, and it won't be long till I can pull it up in a scrunchy again!

4.  I saved the best for last lol...  That I am now down 5 more pounds, WOO HOO!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Becki

P.S. - Tia - I will be sending you a PM shortly.
