Pre-op checklist?
Well, when you're on the soft food stage, basically, anything you can puree, you can eat. Obviously, though, you want to concentrate on protein first and foremost - always.
If you like yogurt, Greek yogurt provides the most bang for your buck protein-wise!! Eaten plain, it tastes like sour cream and can be used the same way, and sweetened with Splenda, it tastes like vanilla yogurt. I LOVE this stuff and am responsible for pretty much getting the whole board hooked!!!! LOL!!!!
Ricotta cheese is very versatile, too - you can sweeten it with Splenda and add cocoa or cinnamon for a cannoli-filling like pudding, or you can make it savory by adding garlic, basil, oregano, etc., and then topping it with spaghetti sauce and cheese. Just be creative!!!
