NYC Trip

Hey all!!!

Lisa Z. and I were talking about a trip to NYC on Saturday, April 4, which is the weekend before Easter. 

Lisa has volunteered to drive and along with the two of us, can take 5 more people in her van.

HOWEVER, I've gotten some feedback that maybe more than that would like to go, so if you're interested, please let me know.  If I get a decent number, I'll contact a couple of bus companies (Hunt Valley and Megabus) and see if we could get a group rate.

If Lisa drives, of course, we'd all pitch in for gas, tolls, parking and I thought it would be nice for us to pitch in for a meal for her, as well.  So......I'm thinking like $20 a person.

Thoughts?  Interest???

ME ME ME ME

This sounds like a great idea and I am interested. However, for now I will have to stay a "maybe". That is the weekend right before an implementation and our staffing will be different then it is now. So I do not know yet how this will affect my free time.

Hey everyone I checked Megabus website and the prices are not up for April yet:
the ones for late march range anywhere from $1.00  ( 12:30 am departure )
tp $14.00 dependent on what time the bus leaves.  Some of the acceptable
hours rates were $6.00 and $ 7.00

Those prices were one-way, although the return trip is cheap, also.

If we leave at 7-ish, that would put us in NYC by 10:30.

I'll keep an eye on the sites.
