hello neighbor!!!!!!! Fellow hagerstonian here too :) I had my surgery last may and i can tell you that it is a wonderful gift to give yourself :) i would definitely do it all over again. On the 16th of this month we're having a support group meeting in Frederick if you'd like to attend. It's at the starbucks at westfield shopping center (the exit on I-270 for Rt. 85 South.....turn right at light and you'll see it there on the left). We welcome everyone and would be good to have another local around here :)

Hi Justin! Which surgery are you considering? All I can say is research, research, research. You've come to the right place! I haven't gotten surgery yet, myself but there is a lot of useful information on this board.

Sorry I'm a little late with my welcome, but.....WELCOME TO THE MARYLAND BOARD!!!

Do as much research as you possibly can, and when you go to the seminar, if you don't walk away with a feeling of, "this is absolutely the doctor for me," find another!!! I did that, and ended up being a devotee of my second choice!!!
