Stomach talking??

Ok my stomach has made all kinds of noise since my surgery but I think its getting louder. I actually was embarrased last night because I was in the checkout line at Giant with Mike. There we stood and it was quiet and all of a sudden my stomach was making these loud noises. And it comes up out of my mouth. Its like I am making the noise. Its kinda funny but everyone looks at me. My kids laugh because it does that everytime I eat no matter what I eat. They say my stomach talks back to me. LOL That is what it sounds like too. Anyone else? LOL

I have not really noticed this to a great extent, only occasionally. I do not know what makes it happen. It seems to me someone has mentioned this before. Hopefully, they will post!

Thanks Debbie. It is sitting here doing it now. Its like air coming up from my stomach and out of my mouth but not as a burp. Its too funny! It feels strange too!! haha ;o)

interesting that you mention that Jilly.  My guts have been a non-stop rumble since surgery.  It's moreso when I lay down flat on my back.  However I don't think it's my stomach, it's the intestines making all that noise.  Do you have a lot of gas?  I know I do.

No actually I have not had much gas at all since the first few days home. But the noise in my stomach is AWFUL! I feel like I am about to belch so I open my mouth and all this noise comes out instead of belching. LOL Its so strange!! I emailed Nadja today about it too. LOL

  I know what you're talking about...I've had the same issues!!  It is embarassing!!  The noises seem to have calmed down the last week or so...they haven't gone away totally, just calmed down a bit...with any luck, yours will a little too within the next couple of weeks!!  About two and a half weeks after surgery my step sister came into town and we took her out to dinner.  I was about 3 bites in to my stuffed mushroom and all of a sudden she started looking for her cell phone...she said she could hear it vibrating.  She figured out that she didn't have her cell phone and at about the same time my stomach rumbled..and she said "there is goes again"...well...how embarassed was I to tell her that it was my stomach digesting!!  UGH...so yea girl, I'm right there with ya!!

Yeah mine too. It comes and goes but when I eat it is LOUD! LOL Not like I can stop it from happening. hahaha How ya feeling honey?

I'm feeling much better now...I've felt really good for the last week and a half...more "normal" than ever....how  about you??

Me too!!!!!!!!! Finally! I had a ROUGH first month but I feel much better now. Thank GOD! LOL

Oh my Jilly I am so glad you posted this because I too have this exact problem!! Your right it comes back up outta my mouth sometimes like *I* am making the noise and it has been embarassing in a few cir****tances. I am glad to know I am not alone!
