You know, KB don't KNOW color, and I'm glad.  They have many friends of mixed races and to them, it's as it should be - they're friends, regardless of their color.

We can ALL learn a lesson from our children!!

I have always said since I was a teen that we need to take care of our own first. I feel sorry for the people in other poor countries but we need to help ourselves first. Pres. Obama will continuously be under the gun so he really has to watch his P's and Q's we all know that. I personally wanted Biden to get the nod but that didn't happen. I just didn't think Obama or Clinton has had enough time on the hill and thats why I was always against governors running for president. I think that someone in the house or senate should be the only ones allowed to run for the presidency, in the meantime they should also have to be in the senate or house for at least 8 years before they can run for president, but thats just my opinion. I wish him the best and I am in hopes that he may be able to do something for this country namely the Social Security system and the elderly needs in this country, but no candidate even touched on those subjects, and both of those areas need to be fixed fast. Thanks, Dusty!!  Unfortunately, there's not going to be a fast fix for ANY of our problems.  You know, in Japan, the elderly are revered - here, we throw them in nursing homes and allow them to eat cat food because they can't afford their medicines and food.  It sickens me to see what my parents pay in prescription costs - after my Dad's open-heart surgery, his meds would've been in the thousands of dollars monthly had he and Mom not had decent health insurance. 

There are so many issues that need attention, it'll be interesting to see what gains his focus first!

AMEN!!! Me too. I was a PROUD Obama supporter and voter. I think he has a lot on his plate but I feel he can tackle it and I cant wait to see what "CHANGE" he can bring. We ALL need some CHANGE!!! ;o)
