Hi everyone,

Sorry that I have been MIA this week.  Hunter and I both have been very sick.  I had Hunter at the doctor's again today, and she said that if his cough gets any worse for me to just take him to the ER.  She is worried that he may be getting pnuemonia.  So, please pray for him, and that he gets better soon.

Hope everyone is doing well, and having a good week.

Hugs,
Becki

Oh, I am so sorry you both have been having such a hard time. Yes, you have my prayers and support. Kids are so resilient and bounce back quickly once they get over the worst. Hopefully, the worst is behind you!

All the best,

Debbie

Good afternoon everyone!  I would like to thank all of you for your kind words and prayers.  It has been a very rough week, and my little man just isn't getting better.  This is so scarey for me, because when Hunter was 5 months old he started out with bronchitis and ended up with his right lung collapsing.  The dr's at Upper Chesapeake inserted a chest tube and then he was transferred to the PICU at University of Maryland.  Once there they ended up having to intubate him because he developed bacterial pnuemonia.  They tested the bacteria and it was found to be MRSA, which he acquired from Upper Chesapeake.   He also developed Empyema and had to have a VATS procedure done.  It was just awful and I hated not being able to do anything to help him.  So, I'm sure you can imagine how much it scares me to see him this sick.

Thank you all again for your prayers, and I will keep you updated.  I'm waiting on his pediatrician to call me back, and I'm going to go over everything with her.  I'm sure we are going to be at the ER by the end of the afternoon.

Hugs,
Becki
