Aaron I will definitly keep your Dad in my prayers. My family is going throught this with my grandfather. he has had some mini heart attacks and they flew him to Washington Hospital Center over a week ago and wasnt strong enought for the cath and they did it this past thursday and his 3 major ateries are blocked...100% in one 85% and 75% in the others and the 75% one is keeping him alive. They also did a scan to see how much of his heart is dead and my mom said it wasnt good.  He needs surgery but would not make it through it. They decide today for sure what there gonna do......my mom said most likely they will keep him in a rehab to watch him closely. It's only a matter of time. So I will definitly keep your Dad in my payers. keep us updated

Thank you Kelly!  i will definitely keep your family in my prayers as well.  it's one thing for a father to have issues but grandparents usually are the glue that holds families together.  My grandfather has had several strokes and isn't expected to last through this year.  I know how it goes hon.  Stay strong for everyone's sake.

I hope all goes well! I know it's a scary thing. My grandmother had to have a double bypass and a valve replacement back in 2005. She was a heavy smoker, and still was up to a year ago when she finally realized smoking wasn't helping anything. But yeah, you dad will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers!

Aaron, will definitely be sending positive thoughts. This is something that could have saved my mom, had they found her problem in time. We're all lucky that modern medicine can do wonders, so I'm predicting a great outcome for your dad!
Hugs!
