OT-The Wait time to talk to

BGE is over 30 minutes.

I swear i'm not going to complain about the bill.....

SPEAKERPHONE!!!  That way, you're not tied up with the phone to your ear!


 

i am on speakphone.  they are playing cheesy music and every  2 minutes the voice tells me they have not forgotten me.

Is it a man's voice?  If so, I'd LOVE to hear a man's voice telling me he hasn't forgotten me!!  LOL!!!

Although I know he'd be lying.....or telling me what he thought I wanted to hear!!!  LMAO!!

They are crazy my bill has jumped sky high. I have cut my heat back to 68 and its chilly. 600.00 for a townhouse! I would love to complain but cant get through...Hold times are crazy.. If you ask for an extension they give you one week.. Something is wrong here....Everyone needs to complain...

yes we've gone up but not more than I expected for such cold weather....

btw hold for me was under 15 minutes... even if they said 38....

I understand you might not be calling to complain but many people cant understand why the biils are so high. I saw a man on tv who  has his heat @ 60 and his bill is still rising.. Now they are charging a fee to get the electric or gas to us. I realize it has been cold but how do you use less electric than last year but the bill is more? Many are very upset and they had a hearing today about BGE in Baltimore. I am sorry I think we are being overcharged....

in the last year and a half i've gotten new windows and a new heat pump and my bill still rose a lot.

but I keep the house very warm (except at night and when we are not home) and it went up around $100 but not more.

I know heat pumps have to work harder when it's colder.

I'm not sure if it's the GAS or the Electric since we are just ELECTRIC and i have budget billing.

in fact my BB is going down by $10 per month next month....  weird.

Yea me too 6,000 for new ac and heat unit with heat pump and 3800 for all new windows. I guess we should be glad we have heat and lights. My friend has a single family 3 bedroom and her bill was 750.00 last month and its just her and her hubby. My neighbor has twins and her heat is set at 65. Thats to cold for me and my hubby is on plavix and always cold.....I wonder what the summer will look like?  Heat pumps dont keep your home toasy like oil and gas....

I'm with you ladies. Our highest electric bill ever was a summer bill (our A/C) and it was like 208.00. Well, last month our bill was 391.00. We also just had new furnace and A/C and all new windows. We did get a hot tub, but there is no way our 7000K energy star rated hot tub that is guaranteed not to cost more than 20.00 a month is doing this. It is sickening and our heat is GAS, so I can't begin to figure out what the heck is costing so much during cold weather.

Ugh!
