Update: So I am not crazy - I had legitimate questions and wanted legitimate answers. The surgical scheduler is out this week and I spoke with the person filling in for her. She was SO HELPFUL! Told me exactly what records they had and what else they needed for me to qualify. I really didnt feel I was asking for much, not special treatment or anything like that -- just wanted someone to be straight up with me. and this person 'filling in' knew all the answers!
I feel so much better about staying with this doc and hope to get the name of the person I spoke with yesterday before she is no longer filling in for the permanent staff member - hoping she works in the office and is not just a temp.
WHew.....now to distract myself from the nicotene cravings -- almost a non-smoker!!
