Is there anyone who does not use these. I would really like to ween myself off of them. Not only are they a chemical but I believe they really set me up for craving.

I just really do not know how to stop them. I need ideas on more natural ways to sweeten things.

ANYONE ????????????????????????

According to my nut, she'd rather us use a little sugar than artificial sweeteners.

Hi, Gail I am going to anutritionist and we just talked about this issue. I have used splenda for almost a year. She told me splenda, equal, sweet n low are full of nothing but chemicals. She said I should go to a Trader Joes ao a natural market and get Stevia. It comes froma plant no chemicals. I did get it and it took a while to get use to but I am ok with it now. They even have a french vanilla flavored Stevia. She told me to google the chemicals in the other sweetners and then see if I still want them. I also noticed when I drank caffine free pepsi and used splenda in coffee and tea my sweet cravings were off  the wall. Since I switched the cravings are much less... Good luck..

oh and one thing about stevia.. it's from the RAGWEED family so if you have an allergy to RAGWEED be careful about stevia.

Nessa How did you find out that the stevia is from the ragweed family? That has me worried since I am allergic to ragweed. Now I am scared to use it... Please let me know...
