3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY EVE!!!
But, today, I'm grateful for:
1. One investigation down, several to go - lots of comp time earned!!!!!
2. That we're getting a really good replacement for one of our guys who's retiring. Since I've been around here so long, I know EVERYONE, and I'm always kind of leery to see who I might be working with!!! This new person will be a good fit.
3. Trader Joe's - I picked up some needed and not-so-needed stuff the other day, including two bday presents - citrus scented sugar scrubs!!! They SMELL heavenly!!!
Have a wonderful day!
Tia
Remember me ??? LMAO .. I just haven't even had time to be reading/lurking much less posting, but I'll take a shot at it today and maybe tomrorow too !!!
1. I have a few days off .. headed to OC later today for a long weekend
2. That in 10 days I will be a full 5 years post op and what a ride those years have been! I'm not where I would like to be, but I'm a darn sight better than I was on March 12, 2004!
3. Did I mention I'm off for a few days?
I am trying to figure out if I can make the NYC trip. I think Mr Mo might be working that day, so it's a possibility!
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Hm......your pants are SLIGHTLY on fire, Moie!!! I seem to recall you being on Facebook and posting about a new addition to your family via the driveway!!!! A new car perhaps, hmmm????
Oooooh, have a blast at the beach!! I NEED to get away!! N-O-W!!!!!
I have your surgiversary marked on my calendar - you know I wouldn't forget my Moie!!!
That'd be great if you could go to NYC!! Just let me know!!
LY,
T
Love ya too !

Today's list is a bit like yesterdays but with an added twist LOL
1. Dinner with some family last night. My brother, sister-in-law and their
3 kids , 1 husband and 1 boyfriend joined us for dinner last night to celebrate
Dad's birthday. It was such fun to get together. My nephew is in the process of
buying his first house so I totally enjoyed hearing his excitement and plans
he has to furni**** > ( Master bedroom set and furniture for the deck are his main concerns-
he said he'll put folding chairs in his living room LOL) . My one niece is in the process
of going for her masters and settling into married life. Their sister is in the middle of
her first year of teaching so they all had exciting things to talk about. Damn can you
tell I'm a proud Aunt?
2. That after dinner I stopped in to see how my team was doing bowling;
Within minutes of my getting there I had at least 10 people come over and say they
had missed me and had been concerned something was wrong with me. When I explained
where I had been the response was " we understand; Family first"
3. That its Water Pilates and Aerobics tonight I LOVE THESE NIGHTS!!!!!!
4. For all of you : It is so nice to hear all the WOW moments!
