O M G!!!  God save me from stubborn men!!!  I'm glad only my Dad's like that; if Mom were, too, I'd be REALLY nuts!!!

Hide his hearing aids - then maybe he'd be forced to go to the doctor!!!!!

It's so nice to see your cheerfulness on here this morning Tia!  You were missed yesterday.

Today, I'm grateful for:

1. The fact that I wore heels all day and evening yesterday (much more confidently than in the past). I have a new pair that I'm breaking in for Saturday, so I'll be wearing them to work tomorrow too.  My feet don't even hurt today! Woot Woot!

2.  Mom took me and DH out for dinner last night.  It was pre-planned that she and I were getting lobster. It was really yummy and it came with 2 tails. Now I need to figure out what to do with the 2nd one. I had seen a recipe for Lobster Mac&Cheese that sounded interesting and I may try that.... or find something better for me.

3. The last two nights I got to bed at a reasonable hour which can be difficult with DH. He likes to stay up until 1:00 a.m. and we always go to bed together.

4. Spending more and more time with my 17 year old son who lives with his dad. He's been over several times a week recently and I enjoy having him over (it also prompts me to cook dinner).

Hope everyone has a phenomenal day!!!

Thanks, Ren!!  I'm not SURE I actually FEEL cheerful, but I'll make an effort for my 3 Things post!!!  I've been doing it for so long now that it feels weird when I don't.  But yesterday was a BAD, BAD day!!!!

You go in those heels!!  My heel spur is jealous!!!

Lobster salad - Just some light mayo and Old Bay......OR.......just put the meat on top of a garden salad.

How IS your tummy?

1 a.m.?  Is he NUTS?????

Good for your for cooking and getting some face time with your baby!!

Have a great day!

I had the issue at lunch time yesterday also... pushed my chicken salad aside and then when I was hungry two hours later, I finished it and my stomach has seemed to be fine since then.

Mom's been wanting lobster for 3 weeks now (actually more like 3 years) and has talked about it the whole time I was glad I was able to go and not disappoint her.

I love the way I feel in heels... Take charge, in control etc. etc.

I hope your day is less stressful and tiring today.  Comp time will rock though!  I wish I could earn some of that!

If you get a chance, feel free to give me a call.

~hugs~

Hmmm..........wonder what's going on with your pouch?  You know what, though?  If it continues, start writing it down and write down what you had to eat, drink, etc.  If you end up having to go to the doctor, he may ask for that anyway.  Might help them/you pinpoint the problem.

I'll try to give you a call later.  Busy day, supplies are coming in, etc.  If not, I'll try to catch you on the way home.

I love heels, too - although at 5'7", I don't feel the need to be taller.  And I'm pretty assertive, so I don't need heels to make me any more mouthy!!!!  LOL!!!!  Hell, I can be in control in flip-flops!!!

Hugs,

Me too Nessa, but sometimes I resent having to wake up to go upstairs and go to bed. Some nights I just need to be in bed by 10:30 or 11:00 without sleeping on the sofa waiting to get to go to bed.

LOL, I know that I could go to bed without him, but its just not something we do.
