Or from cramming too many patients into "office" days to make as much $$$ as possible. If a doctor really wanted to spend extra time with patients, don't over-book and then make patients wait two hours to actually be SEEN. Book enough time for EACH patient to be seen in a timely fashion.Sorry for the rant but the office just REALLY bugs me there.

The only problem with that Nessa is that if the next appt gets there before you and signs in they will take that appt first Exactly what Gail said. Even if you arrive late, then you just have to get in line behind every one else... and wait even longer.
The office needs a beeper/buzzer system like the one used at Outback Steakhouse and similiar places. Take a beeper and then go about your business and go back when they buzz you

You know that nice policy that offices have, "Patients cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice will be billed $25"?
Dontcha just wish YOU could do that to THEM? Or make THEM sit and wait????
One of my pet peeves!!!! Personally, I give them 20 minutes past the appointment time to take me in the back - if not, I'm at the desk asking, nicely, if they've "forgotten" about me. Same thing once I'm in the back - I have no qualms about walking out into the hallway after I've been sitting there for 20 minutes with a drape wrapped around me, trying to find out what's going on!!!!

LOL YOU NUT! WALKING AROUND THE OFFICE IN THE DRAPE!!! HAHAHA!
And yes, I wish we could apply that policy to doctors!! I know with my health care, I can send in a complaint about a doctor (for whatever reason) and then the complaints unit will look into the situation. Sometimes if they get enough complaints, they'll take action with the provider and do some provider network alterations (depending on how severe the situation is). But I feel really bad doing something like that, considering I work for my health care company. LOL
