Angie -
Good for you on OCB!!! Post-op, you'll eat MUCH less and will STILL be satisfied.
Ranesa is DA BOMB!!!!! I've recommended her to half the board!! In fact, I've asked her to join us at some social gatherings, but she said she can't, as it's a conflict, which I figured, but she's so much fun I thought I'd try!. She's an amazing example of wls success!!
WOW, your Mom's a fighter!!! Good for her!!! I'm glad you still have her!!
Have a great day!
Tia
I am really sad to hear that things are still so difficult for Heather' s Dad. I was really hoping they could do something to improve the quality of his days. I will continue to hope and pray for this.
I like the decorations too. Since my time is limited, the best i can do for the smaller holidays is put something on the front door. My development has a number of people who decorate their balconies as you describe for every holiday. I am sure when I get home tonight, the green will be replaced with all things Spring / Easter! I have to admit that I enjoy all of their efforts.
1 - For enjoying the classes in the pool last night. Each step into the water, was like, AHHHHHHHHHHHH!
2 - The anticipation of what the weather will be like later today, even if it is temporary.
3 - That despite all of the obstacles and struggles, the good in my life far outweigh the negative. I am blessed by all of the wonderful people in my life, my family and friends.
4 - That I am getting better at remembering to hit the spell check button on my posts. I am so used to Outlook and Word doing it automatically.
Have a great day!

Hi Deb!!!
I know, I wish I could share miraculous news about Dad Dave, but I'm not giving up hope.
One of my 3 things should've been that I saw the hyacinths blooming in the front garden this a.m.!!! Mom's determined that we have blooming flowers all year long, so there's always something popping up. I love the heady fragrance of hyacinths!!
I think I'd be sorely tempted to just float in the pool!!!! LOL!!
Have a great day!

Wow great strength at the buffet...... Salad out is so yummy... Good job for the water my nut wants me to drink 100 oz what a hard job I hate water. I am doing Crystal LIght and she says its full of chemicals oh well its not soda...I hear Ranessa is great... I am sorry about your mom my momis in the same boat but has only been battling for almost 4 years. She has lung cancer and the worst dementia. I hope and pray for your momshe is a lucky woman and you are so lucky to have her...

As for you guys: I spend more time here than my own board. Tis sad really.
Mo,
Hi
Jenn,
Two sizes WOO-HOO you go!
What is mock apple pie a’la mode?
I’m learning so much in terms of food here. I learned about dehydrated TVP yesterday. I got some. Used it this morning on my yogurt got 12 g of protein with my 20 g of protein in the yogurt and saved 200 calories over nuts! It will work for me!
Ah reading farther down I see Julie beat me to the question. I bet apples cut up and SF caramel syrup would work too. Morning Julie darling
Darla,
Glad the ER was not to bad I spent 8 hours there a few weeks ago (at Northwest) with the girl child… glad your niece is not broken…
Me:
I'm supposed to meet Sylvie for lunch. Sounds good but parking will be a bear when we get back... but it's ok! just extra walking.
the TOPS of my feet hurt... like where my feet meet my legs... no clue why...
did THREE minutes on the bike this morning... that's ONE more than yesterday
DID NOT SNACK after dinner last night...
will walk 1/4 mile at 10 am.
might do another 1/4 around 4 if i feel up to it.
Thinking of Angie this morning...
practicing eating without drinking and drinking without eating.
Grateful things:
1. Newfoundland puppy play bows... OMG it's like a cartoon dog... he bows and wags his tail and stares at Hannah waiting for her 7 year old lazy butt to come play with him... it makes me laugh every time.
here is a picture of a random dog in a play bow for folks that don't know what one is:
2. Dehydrated TVP (yes i'm being simple this morning) OMG crunch, fewer calories and protein. a threefer!
3. Lew! he came to get me to walk. I just did 1/4 mile in 20 minutes... not a fast pace but all I can handle at this point. at least i'm moving.
off to see if I missed anyone while i was replying.
Morning Nessa!!! Your own board? WE are your board. 'Nuff said.
You'll love Moie!!! I do, anyway!!!
Lucky you and Sylvie!!! We'd like a full report please - from both!!! LOL!!!
Maybe the tops of your feet hurt from the biking?
While you're at it, practice NOT drinking for 30 minutes AFTER eating - I found that Icebreakers Sour Mints helped with that dry mouth thingy!!
Awww, play bows!!!! I saw one of them at a dog show once - cracked me up!!!
Um..........who's Lew? What'd I miss???
You'll love Ranesa, Nessa!!!!
Have a great day!!!
Hugs,
Tia
