Tia, Glad to se you back online you were missed over  the weekend. Glad to see you had a goodtime with B. Sorry bout the puter it will be well worth the wait. My puter is 11 years old and kids call it a dinosaur. I love the shots for your feet they are very helpful as I have the plantar fachitis. Glad you got leave for easter thats a great time to have off. Hope you have a Easter surprise for the kids. I know my kids loved the baskets and treats. Hope  the dentist went well.....Have a great MONDAY and take care...

The dentist DID go well, thanks!!  I'm RARELY on the computer over the weekend, and you won't see me a whole lot more even when the new one comes in.  I just have so much going on over the weekends, and when I'm with KB, I'd prefer to spend time with them than on the computer.

EVERYONE in our family, including the dog, gets an Easter basket!!!  LOL!!

we too had a busy weekend.  glad you ordered a computer.  i do miss you over the weekend. 

enjoy the celebratory week.  we had that kind of weekend... omg food was so good so i was so bad.. but i'll get to that.

i can't say i've ever had good experiences with a podiatrist.   I had a heel spur.  it was so bad.  i could barely walk.  I slipped and fell on some ice and tore it out.  it healed properly thankfully and no more pain. I think i would have had to have had surgery otherwise.  I hope the shot works for you.

are you taking the whole week off?  that's great.  I'm trying to save as much leave as I can for this summer.  I'm hoping for four weeks off after surgery and my BFF (the one you met) has offered to drive me to the florida house to rest and recuperate in peace and quiet..   sounds like a plan to me...

Even if I'm not ON over the weekend, I'm available by cell.  Of course, if I'm with KB, I generally don't answer, so sometimes pinning me down is hard!

I think my parents are taking us to dinner tomorrow night, my bosses are taking me to lunch on Wednesday, my aunt is taking me out to lunch on Saturday and then Saturday night with some friends!  WHEW!!  The good thing is that I pretty much know where we're going, and I know what good, delicious choices to make - that's what it's all about!!

Yikes!!  You TORE the heel spur out?  O M G!!  The last time I got a cortisone shot, it didn't help, but I've been doing at-home exercises, so maybe a combination will help.  Crossing my fingers, because I want to be able to walk around NYC!!

Yes'm, I am taking the whole week, plus Easter Monday off.  I have SOOOOO much leave that if I don't start taking some now, I'm going to end up donating it back to the State, and that ain't happening!!!

The Florida house?  I didn't know we had one of those!!  Not really sure that's a great idea for a long drive after surgery, so............be sure to clear it with DVR!!

Well, my weekend did not go the way I planned it.  After my successful visit to me cardiologist on Friday, I started to feel a little sensitivity with my teeth. By Friday evening it was a full blown flare up and I have been in dental pain all weekend. pain killers that should last 4-6 hours have only been giving me about 2 to 2/12 hours of relief. Sigh - it is always something. So I did not go out much or accomplish much this weekend.

Good luck with the podiatrist, Tia! I have been there - not fun.

Today I am grateful that...

1 - I was able to get a dentist appointment for 11:15AM at a new dentist. My old one moved his practice.

2 - That at my cardiologist appointment on Friday, my MD was so pleased with me that he gave me permission to try going without my heart rate med. We are hoping we will discover that I don't need it anymore, that my symptoms were exaggerated by my weight. So keep your fingers crossed that I do not have any flare ups during this experiment. This is the last med that I have been on.

3 - I know I have said it before, but especially with how I feel today, I am so glad I can work from home.
