Morning all! My it's FREEZING out there this morning!
Sorry about all the tooth issues going on with everyone. I guess I should make an appointment with my dentist since I haven't been in a few years!!
Tia - glad you got your shots! Hopefully the Spenco inserts will do the trick as custom orthotics are EXPENSIVE and insurance doesn't cover them - at least mine didn't. It was $300 for the first pair and $150 for the second. UGH!
Darla - glad you got to the doctor and hope everything gets worked out!
Today I'm grateful...
1. That I am a much stronger person than I used to be. I used to be a doormat but vowed several years ago that that would NEVER happen to me again!
2. For my 4 furbabies...they kept me warm last night...it was COLD when I let them out for the last time and I had to go out in it because Jake didn't feel like coming in when the rest of them did.
3. For all of you!!
Have a good day everyone!
Hey sweetie!!!
Yes, get your butt to the dentist!! Since we now malabsorb, it's even more important since loss of Vit D can also mean loss of teeth!!! Can't have you looking like you're from Essex/Middle River now, can we????
The beauty of having an HMO is that although I have to go to certain drs., just about everything short of a lobotomy is covered!!! Meaning - custom orthotics = $0!!!!! But yes, I'm hoping the shot and inserts help, anyway!!!
Believe it or not, I used to be a doormat, too. Especially when it came to men. No more!!
WHY OH WHY do the furbabies pick the coldest night to say, "Awww, Mom, I'm not ready to come in yet!! Just 5 more minutes, please!!!!!" LOL!!! Happy does the same thing, thumbing her nose at me!!!! LOL!!!
Countdown to NYC is underway!! WOO-HOO!!!
Hugs,
T
Hmmmm...I've always had HMO's until the beginning of this year and they've never covered prosthetics, which is what orthotics are considered. Grrr!
Less than 2 weeks baby!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. My new running shoes. My feet hurt so bad yesterday that I was limping all day. I didn't know if I would be able to do the gym today, but the new shoes made it a breeze!
2. For a hubby who will give up his evening to drive me all around town until 10 pm looking for the perfect pair of shoes. (And he's the one who always puts my shoes on, so he put a lot of shoes on me last night.
3. That other than laundry and cooking, I have nothing planned for tonight. I need a down night. Tomorrow is my support group in Glen Burnie. :)
Another thing I'm grateful for today- Ex's that see your worth. I had an ex tell me today that he still has a crush on me. He hung out with my husband and I on Saturday and he told me that he is still very attracted to me. :) I'm very happy with my hubby and I know he appreciates me, but it's nice to get a second opinion. :)
That's great about your ex, but that may contribute to your husband's unease, too, if he thinks other men are attracted to you.
Men!! Can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em!
Tia
I'm not telling him about the friend. There are somethings he need not know. (He'd actually be okay with it tho... My son's father was the best man at our wedding.)
