curious about gallstone prevention

Hi, I see the surgeon April 6th  ...but in the information sessions I have heard them say that they put you on a medication to prevent gallstones post-op. I was wondering what the name of the medication is and if people think that it seems to help...I'm worried about needing another surgery a few months later to remove my gall bladder and wondering if I should push to have it removed at the same time as the roux-en-y?

My surgeon prescribes Urso...  He does not take out the gallbladder unless it doesn't look during surgery or on a scan beforehand...  I kept mine!
